I love chia puddings but if I have to pick a favorite chia pudding recipe it has to be this banana chia pudding recipe. It’s made with just 4 basic ingredients which are very easily available almost everywhere around the world and you need to just put 2 minutes of your effort into making it. After that just allow it to set in the fridge. Banana chia seeds pudding can be enjoyed as a make-ahead breakfast, snack, and dessert too. It’s vegan and gluten-free.

Ingredient notes

Banana: Take a ripe or over ripe banana to make chia pudding. Riper the better as they are sweeter and get mashed very easily. Ripe bananas are sweet enough to give complete sweetness to this pudding and you don’t need to add any extra sweetener. However, if you prefer a sweeter chia pudding, you can add any sweetener of your choice.Coconut milk: I have used coconut milk but you can use any other type of milk too.Chia seeds: Use a fresh stock of chia seeds. Old seeds sometimes don’t soak the liquid properly and make a runny pudding.Vanilla extract: Optional but recommended.

Step 2: Transfer the peeled banana to a serving bowl, glass, or jar. Step 3: Add coconut milk. Step 4: Add vanilla extract. Step 5: Add chia seeds. Step 6: Mix well. Step 7: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Step 8: Garnish with your favorite toppings. Your delicious creamy banana chia seeds pudding is ready to be enjoyed!

My favorite way of enjoying it is with some caramelized bananas on top. You can try the following toppings too:

Chopped nuts and dried fruits.Chopped fresh fruitsPlain banana slicesGranolaChocolate syrupHoney, maple syrup, or agave syrupPeanut butter
