Leftover Bolognese Recipe

Spaghetti bolognese  goes in the hall of fame with a select few dishes, that taste just as good if not better the day after. Just the way all those beautiful flavours are soaked up overnight. The flavour deepens and intensifies. These sliders are super duper simple, nothing fancy, just a neat way to serve up leftover bolognese. PLUS they truly are delicious. PLUS PLUS you’re more than likely to have most, if not all of the ingredients on hand.

How long does Bolognese keep?

If it’s covered properly I usually keep in the fridge for 3-4 days. You can also freeze it and that’ll keep up to a month.

How to reheat Bolognese?

If it’s from the fridge I recommend frying it over a low-medium heat until piping hot throughout. You can also microwave, but it won’t cook through as evenly. If it’s from the freezer I recommend bring it to room temp and then frying in a pan until piping hot. Or you can do the same and finish in the microwave.
