🥜 What Makes This Recipe So Good
Chicken satay is perfect as an appetizer or main course. It is traditionally served as an appetizer, but it’s so delicious, you can totally enjoy it as an entrée! If you have any leftovers, they would be delicious added into a salad or wrap. The peanut sauce is absolute perfection. It’s the perfect blend of creamy, tangy, sweet, and just a tiny hint of spice. Those flavors combined with the hint of char from broiling makes this dish absolutely incredible. Even the pickiest of eaters will love it!
👩🏼‍🍳 Chef’s Tips
Already planning on firing up the grill? No problem! You can totally grill the chicken satay instead of broiling it. Soaking the bamboo skewers is essential! The ends of dry skewers can burn or catch fire when broiled. Alternately, you can also use metal skewers, or skip them all together if you don’t have any on hand! If you’re not using skewers, I recommend placing the chicken on a wire baking rack set on top of your baking sheet.
