The fun toppings will make kids feel like they’re enjoying a treat, when they’re really loading up on good-for-them ingredients! Sprouts makes it easy to pick up healthy nut butters, yogurts, and granolas. It’s super simple and exciting to make! Mix together the yogurt and peanut butter in a bowl, spread on a baking sheet, and sprinkle on some toppings. I like to get the kids involved in the process, too. They’re even more excited about enjoying a “treat” that they helped make! You can easily customize your yogurt bark! Pick up your kids’ favorite yogurt, fruit, and toppings, then assemble this recipe however you’d like! For a more dessert-style treat, let them add sprinkles and/or mini chocolate chips.

Key Ingredients

Vanilla Yogurt – This creamy topping packs in some serious health benefits for the little ones. Yogurt is high in protein and healthy bacteria to strengthen kids tummies and immune systems! I’m telling you, they won’t know how good for them this back-to-school snack is when they bite into this healthy peanut butter yogurt bark. Granola – Granola is the perfect crunchy, yet healthy topping to this snack. I particularly love the Purely Elizabeth Grain-Free Granolas which are low in sugar, high in protein, and keto-friendly! Lucky for me, Sprouts carries a whole variety of this healthier granola and each flavor is equally as tasty as the last. Any leftovers my kids don’t use on this frozen yogurt bark ends up on top of my morning oats – YUM!

Chef’s Tips

Since the fruit will be frozen in the process, you can use a mixture of frozen berries rather than fresh berries in this recipe. You could even add more berries, or fewer if you prefer. Have fun and make this recipe your own!Once you’ve broken up the frozen peanut butter yogurt bark, you can freeze leftovers in an airtight container. This kid-friendly snack will stay good in the freezer for up to three months! To get the kids involved in creating this healthy after-school snack – mix together the yogurt and peanut butter, then spread it onto a baking sheet. Place the fruit and granola in small bowls and leave them to have fun and get creative! The small bowls will keep the mess contained and make cleanup a breeze.
