I love, love, love grazing boards. Love them. They’re just so much fun to put together! All of your favorite foods, spread out in a culinary smorgasbord that pretty much equates to a grown-up Lunchable? Sign me up.The fact that they’re SO customizable might just be my favorite thing about them. I’ve done keto versions, bagel versions, and for our holiday party I did a whole sweet & savory spread with dips and chocolates and various meats and cheeses. Of course, for a Whole30 grazing board, you’ll have to skip the cheeses and chocolates, but there’s still a TON of delicious foods you can include!Just like the ingredients are customizable, the amount of food you incorporate is customizable, too. Grazing boards can be small, individual-sized plates for a solo snack night; larger platters for an intimate gathering; or you can go BIG and create a whole grazing table to feed a large group for a bridal shower or birthday party. Cover a table with butcher paper, add cute little signs or notes to identify each food, et voilà!

Making a grazing board Whole30-compliant is honestly super easy. Just think of it like a much larger version of the meal template! You’ll want to include proteins, veggies, fruits, nuts and/or seeds, and plated fats. Then when you’re building your plate, you can have a little of everything!

Chef’s Tips

Everything listed in the ingredients below are just suggestions – feel free to make any substitutions or adjustments you like! You don’t have to include this many components. If you have a large board, you can double up ingredients as needed to fill out the space.For more visual texture, roll, fold, and stack the sliced meat, or form some into roses. Also be sure to use a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors on your board. I like to use a few sizes of bowls and ramekins for the dips and sauces, too, so the board feels a little less uniform.Split things up however you need to! If you’re making a really large grazing board (or a grazing table!) then try to include some of each ingredient on both ends so everyone can reach.
